'Mummy says I'm old enough to look after myself': What boy, 4, told police after benefits mother left him and baby brother home alone in filthy house

Officers had to force their way past bags of rubbish, soiled nappies and blood-stained blankets

Children were found among urine, excrement and rotting food

A mother who left her two young children 'home alone' surrounded by excrement and rotting food has avoided jail despite an appalling case of child neglect. Emily Harbour, 22, left her 14-month-old baby boy and his four-year-old brother to fend for themselves for 90 minutes while she visited a boyfriend. Police were confronted with a sickening stench as they forced their way past bags of rubbish, soiled nappies and blood-stained blankets when they broke into the house in Newbury, Berkshire.

At first they thought the baby was dead when they found him lying in a cot with a dirty old curtain over his face. However, he was still breathing. Among the filth surrounding him, they found a sex toy as well as urine and human excrement. When officers found his four-year-old brother hiding under a duvet in a room littered with junk, he told them: 'Mummy says I am old enough to look after myself.'

The cowardly mother covered her face with a scarf and sunglasses as she arrived at court to be punished for leaving her sons. Dark-haired Harbour, who looked much younger than her years, was allowed to walk free from court after being given a six month jail sentence suspended for two years for the child cruelty offences. She had earlier listened in the dock, with her head buried in her hands, as the case against her was outlined.

Magistrates were told that police broke into Harbour's three-bedroomed home after a concerned neighbour raised the alarm fearing she had left her children home alone. Jo Belsey, prosecuting, said: 'Officers initially expected the child to be dead but it was, in fact, breathing.' In their statements police officers described how the stench of urine and faeces hit them as they opened the door to the bedroom at the house.

The little boy also told shocked police that he had been 'just playing with the rubbish' and that his 'Mummy would be home in the morning'. Bottles of bleach were found in the property in reach of the young boy. Miss Belsey added that there was no running water for washing in the house. One police officer, with a decade of experience, was 'lost for words' at the state of the house and the appalling conditions in which the children were kept.

When the boys' grandmother arrived the court heard that she was horrified and left visibly upset by the condition of the house. Police discovered Harbour, who receives £900 pounds a month in benefits, at the home of her partner - over five minutes' drive away. When arrested the petite dark-haired defendant admitted that her home was a 's*** hole.'

The court heard that concerns had been raised by the children's GP surgery because health visitors had been unable to see them since they were a few months old. Social Services had previously been informed in January 2007 that Harbour had left her son alone in the house. In May of that year police were also called after Harbour left the boy with a 15-year-old girl while she attended a family party.

The defendant admitted two counts of wilful neglect and a further two counts of wilful abandonment on July 5 this year, when she was hauled before the courts. Nic Cole, defending, said that the children had only been left for one hour and 30 minutes by the time police arrived and that the mess had been caused when the property was broken into five weeks earlier. Harbour claimed that she had left her children in order to go to her boyfriend's house to use his computer to look for a new home as they were being evicted in a matter of days.

The court was told she was extremely 'ashamed' and 'remorseful' and wanted her children back. The boys have been looked after by their grandparents since they were found in the house.

I don't generally do responses to individual current events, but this extraordinarily barbaric crime fits in to the series appropriately. This film will form part of a new series of short clips that looks at individual elements of Feminism and Misandry in society. The films will all be as short as possible, and will aim to be useful "Bitesize" MRM material.
CLAIRE'S LAW: THE RADICAL FEMINIST AGENDA AT WORK
THIS IS AN OUTRAGEOUS SMEAR ON MEN WHEN WE HAVE BEEN COLLATING EVIDENCE OVER MANY YEARS AT THE MANY VIOLENT AND MURDERING WOMEN THAT THIS 'LAW' FAILS TO RECOGNISE. A RADICAL FEMINIST AGENDA IF EVER THERE WAS ONE. STALKING WOMEN GETTING PRIVY INFORMATION FROM DODGY CROOKED COPS JUST LIKE MURDOCH HAS BEEN PAYING THEM FOR YEARS. THE MEN HATERS DISREGARD THE MEN MURDERED BY VIOLENT WOMEN AND THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF THEM THAT THE MASS MEDIA HIDE BUT WE HAVE COLLATED.

'Claire's Law' could allow women to check if their boyfriends have violent pasts

A 'Claire's Law' campaign is to be launched tomorrow and, if successful, it could enable women who date men they meet online to find out from police if their boyfriends have a history of violence. The Mail on Sunday reports that Home Secretary Theresa May is considering introducing Claire's Law, which is named after 36-year-old mother Clare Wood, who was killed by a man she met on Facebook. After her death, friends and family were shocked to discover that the killer had a history of violence against women, including repeated harassments, threats and the kidnapping at knifepoint of one of this ex-girlfriends.

The proposed law is modelled on Sarah's Law, named after murdered schoolgirl Sarah Payne, which gives parents the legal right to know if anyone with regular access to children poses a risk. Campaigners believe that Claire's Law is needed because of the growth of internet dating. It is now much more common for women to start relationships with men who they know little about. However critics believe that the plan could jeopardise civil liberties.

Tory MP Robert Buckland, a member of the Commons Justice Committee said: "We're all in favour of curbing violence against women but we have to be certain this will not lead to fishing expeditions by women demanding confidential information about potential boyfriends without proper jurisdiction. "You cannot have a carte blanche system where people can simply turn up at a police station, given the name of a boyfriend or potential boyfriend, and expect the police to open up all the files on him. There will have to be strict controls on any proposal of this nature." Supporters of the law insist that there will be safeguards to prevent any such abuse.

The Claire's Law campaign is being led by former Labour Cabinet Minsiter Hazel Blears and Ms Wood's father, Michael Brown. Mr Brown, a former prison officer, told The Mail on Sunday: "There needs to be greater protection.

"My daughter wasn't stupid. If she had known about that man's past, she would have taken herself out of there in a heartbeat." The draft Claire's Law scheme would allow women with concerns about their partners to apply to their local police station for information on any violent past. Police would also warn women that their partner was a potential danger. Information would only be released by officers of inspector rank and above, and after they were fully satisfied someone's concerns about their partner was genuine.

  • GOLD DIGGER JAILED OVER OAP CON
A serial conwoman is back behind bars after getting up to her "old tricks" of befriending elderly men through lonely hearts columns before fleecing them of their savings.

Sentencing Loraine Upritchard, 53, to three years in prison, Judge Richard Brown told her: "In my view you are a wicked and despicable gold-digging con artist. "Your aim is to fleece as much money as you can from lonely old men and hope they'll be too embarrassed to report the matter." Lewes Crown Court heard Upritchard used her familiar method to draw in 81-year-old widower James Saunders before defrauding him of £11,000.

He had placed an advert in the Friday Ads that he was looking for a female companion in 2007. Upritchard, who told him her name was Danielle Ryan, later moved into his flat in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, and borrowed £1,000 in February 2008, followed by a further £10,000 soon afterwards. Upritchard gave him various reasons for needing the money, including that it was for medical treatment, promising him that she would pay him back once she had received some money in her aunt's will.

Prosecutor Beverley Cherrill said Upritchard was still under the terms of a community order for duping another widower when the latest offence was carried out. "Your honour may be forgiven for thinking history is repeating itself," she said. The court heard Upritchard also stole and wrote out a number of cheques from the middle pages of Mr Saunders's cheque book, although these were not honoured by his bank so he did not lose any money.

  • FEMALE LAW STUDENT JAILED OVER RAPE ALLEGATIONS
Aisha Mather Female law student jailed after making up rape allegation because she was ashamed of failing university

A former law student who cried rape because she was ‘too ashamed’ to tell her family she had been kicked out of university was locked up for two years yesterday. Aisha Mather, 19, ripped her tights, overturned a coffee table and pulled down curtains in an attempt to convince police she had been attacked at knifepoint and raped in her home. She believed this would give her an excuse to leave her course and move back in with her parents, and kept up the pretence for eight days – even after police arrested a man who matched her detailed description of the tattooed black ‘rapist’.

Three other men were questioned during a major investigation involving forensic examinations and door-to-door inquiries. Nottingham Crown Court heard that Mather had been studying law at Nottingham Trent University but had mounting debts and spent ‘more time socialising than studying’. She was ordered to leave after failing her first-year exams. Phillipa Ellis, defending, said Mather was ‘too ashamed to tell her parents what was going on, and made up a story to get out of Nottingham without having to incur further debt’.

Yesterday, Mather sobbed in the dock as Judge Tony Mitchell described her actions as ‘mind-boggling’. He added: ‘You had been playing the fool at university, got yourself into debt, and wanted your parents to dig you out without having to admit the truth. Your behaviour was utterly despicable.’ Dawn Pritchard, prosecuting, said that on the night of the ‘attack’ in January Mather had been unable to pay for shopping because she had run out of money.

She rang her father and claimed she had been followed home by a man, then became hysterical, prompting her mother to take the phone and ask if she had been raped. When Mather simply continued crying, her mother assumed she had been attacked and told her to call the police. When officers arrived, Mather told them that the man had followed her home from the university library.

The court heard that Mather had ‘seemed visibly shocked’ when describing the incident to detectives and had consented to a medical examination. Her account even included the name of the book she had been reading in the library. But when officers checked with library staff and discovered that it was in storage and not available to read, they began to doubt Mather’s version of events.

Miss Pritchard said that during a second interview with police, Mather admitted she had made up the allegations because she ‘had no money, was not at university, and needed to get out of Nottingham’. Mather, from Stevenage, Hertfordshire, admitted perverting the course of justice and was sentenced to two years in a young offenders institute.

LESBIAN TEACHER HAD SEX WITH HER PUPIL
nicola webster We could be classed as homophobic for pointing out how many homosexuals and lesbians are abusing children including the exposure of homosexual paedo rings that have abused young boys en masse. Yet a complicit media openly condone homosexuality and lesbians. By constantly playing the VICTIM card it avoids a critical look at their ulterior motives. A bit like how the Israeli's use the anti-semitic card every time they bomb Gaza and expect to get away with it.

PE teacher 'had inappropriate lesbian relationship with girl, 16'

A PE teacher had an ‘inappropriate’ lesbian relationship with one of her pupils, a conduct hearing was told. Nicola Webster, 26, who taught at The Abbey School in Faversham, Kent, is accused of engaging in the relationship between February 2008 and spring 2009. During a two-day hearing into unacceptable professional conduct, a panel heard that Miss Webster and the girl, referred to only as ‘Pupil A’, had started a relationship during a school ski-trip in February 2008.

It is alleged that Miss Webster was later seen in public kissing the Year 12 pupil and walking hand-in-hand with her by another member of staff. She is also accused of sharing her one-bedroomed flat with the girl, and booking a week’s holiday in Palma for the two of them during the Valentine’s Day break in 2009. The ten allegations surrounding the relationship include references to email and social network communications, as well as photographs which suggested the pair were in a relationship together. At a General Teaching Council hearing in Birmingham, presenting officer Stephanie Coates told the panel that an 'inappropriate relationship started to form' between Miss Webster and the pupil during a ski trip. She added that a number of subsequent witness sightings of the pair together, as well as documentary evidence, had led to an investigation by deputy headteacher Francis Hatt. English teacher Angela Goss, who had been taking Pupil A for her AS levels, said she had seen the girl with Miss Webster in Whitstable on March 16, 2008.

Mrs Goss said that she had seen them walking ‘alone, hand in hand along the seafront’. In her statement, Mrs Goss said the girl had leaned in and kissed Miss Webster three times before they went into a pub together. She said that she followed them into the pub, but that neither approached her to explain what they were doing there. She said: 'As I walked in both Nicola Webster and Pupil A saw me.

'Pupil A immediately went off to the toilets.' Questioning Mrs Goss, Miss Webster’s representative Simon Pettett suggested that the relationship between Mrs Goss and Pupil A had been strained. He also said that Pupil A had claimed that she and Miss Webster were not alone on the seafront, and were in fact part of a larger group. Pupil A had also claimed that she and Webster had met by chance, and that she had been in Whitstable with her boyfriend. Mrs Goss said: 'I can tell you categorically that I only saw Nicola Webster and Pupil A.

'There was nobody else with them.' She also denied claims that she and Pupil A suffered from a 'personality clash'. She said: 'As far as I am aware I had a perfectly normal relationship with her as a pupil and teacher. 'We spoke in class, discussed issues in class, I was not aware of anything like she’s suggesting about a personality clash. 'As far as I’m concerned she was a top grade student.'

The panel also heard that Pupil A left the school shortly after Mrs Goss reported what she saw in Whitstable. Miss Webster, who was a newly-qualified teacher at the time, denies the allegations against her. The hearing continues.

  • SLUT WALKS PROVE FEMINISM IS NOW IRRELEVANT TO MOST WOMEN'S LIVES
    By Melanie Phillips

Emmeline Pankhurst must be revolving in her grave. At the weekend, various cities around Britain hosted demonstrations by thousands of young women dressed — or to be more accurate, half-dressed — as sex objects, all supposedly in the cause of ‘feminism’.

Hold on a minute, you say — wasn’t feminism supposed to be a revolt against treating women as sex objects? Indeed — but the ostensible aim of these ‘Slut Walks’ was to negate the impact of any judgments upon women for how they may flaunt their bodies in public — by deliberately dressing in the most sexually provocative manner possible.

These in-your-face parades started in response to a Canadian police officer who, in a talk about public safety, suggested that if women didn’t want to invite sexual assaults they should avoid dressing like ‘sluts’. Cue a tsunami of ludicrously over-the-top protests that this officer had effectively blamed women for their own rapes. Such an inflation of well-meaning, if incautious, advice into a thought-crime against half the human race triggered an international explosion of self-indulgent and absurd posturing. Dozens of Slut Walks have now taken place, of which the weekend marches around Britain were but the latest example.

These narcissistic stunts are yet another frivolous distraction by those who take advantage of the unprecedented freedoms won by others as they wrap themselves in the mantle of victim. It’s absurd that they cannot see the contradictions in what they are doing. For even though they demand that women should not be judged by what they are wearing, such a judgment is precisely what dressing as ‘sluts’ requires the watching world to make. And the absurdity is deepened by their insistence that clothing — or its absence — has no effect on other people.

By this logic, if a woman walked down the street naked except for a thong and a pair of stilettos, this should be assumed to have no effect whatever upon men. Of course, sexual assaults take place against women who are dressed perfectly conventionally. But it is wrong to say that therefore there is no such thing as provocative dressing. Indeed, the reaction of men leering at these silly girls as they paraded their exposed flesh demonstrated all too predictably the supreme fatuousness of their assertions.

Clothing, like all social conventions, carries meaning. Modest and immodest dress tells us that the wearers have very different attitudes towards sexuality. Of course, no one dresses in order to be raped. But a girl who barely covers her behind with a pelmet skirt and exposes acres of cleavage is sending out a signal that she wants to be leered at or fantasised about. Wearing revealing clothing signals that she regards her body as a kind of advertising hoarding for her sexuality. It demonstrates that her sexuality is not a private matter, and most certainly is not restricted to a loving relationship — nor indeed to any kind of relationship.

To disclaim any connection between such signalling and opportunistic sexual responses by men is simply ridiculous. And to claim that stating this obvious connection is to hold that women deserve to be raped is a startling denial of reality, logic and common sense. Of course, any man who sexually assaults a woman is to blame for his own behaviour. But the issue arising from women’s clothing is not blame, but prudence. After all, if you walk across a motorway and get knocked down by a car, or if you leave your house unlocked and it is burgled, no one would say you ‘deserve’ to be killed or burgled. But a reasonable person would surely say that it was reckless to cross the motorway or leave your house unlocked. In other words, you must take some responsibility for what happened to you.

The insistence that women’s behaviour never contributes to any harm that may befall them is profoundly anti-feminist — and indeed, anti-human. This is because it robs women of that responsibility for their own actions which lies at the heart of what it is to be a human being. And it betrays feminism in other ways, too. The feminist pioneers battled to obtain political representation, equality in education and the workplace and in other areas of public life. These truly heroic struggles against real, tangible discrimination are belittled and mocked by the vacuous, self-indulgent and self-defeating posturing of Slut Walks.

But there’s an even deeper betrayal. For those pioneering feminists believed that women represented moral values superior to those of men. If women ended up merely behaving like men, they argue, that would negate everything they were fighting for. Alas, this is precisely what has happened. By claiming that degraded behaviour empowers women, these Slut Walkers are turning back the feminist clock. If women claim to be sluts, that’s how they will be seen. We live in a society which has degraded the whole notion of human sexuality. It has voided it of spirituality or love, and turned it instead into little more than a heartless and even predatory means of self-gratification. And modern feminism has been a powerful factor in that dismal process.

greer question time Increasingly irrelevant: Germaine Greer and her fellow feminists have little influence over women's lives in the 21st century

On BBC1’s Question Time last week, Germaine Greer turned stomachs with her remark that little girls flirt with their fathers when kissing them goodnight. Once, feminists sought to protect children from being sexualised. Today, modern feminism’s erstwhile high priestess poisons the innocence of childhood and the love between fathers and daughters by casting even the expression of pure family affection as a sexual act. Feminism surely takes up such absurd or offensive positions because it is past its sell-by date. The great causes which animated it have been won. It now has as much purchase on reality as the grin on the face of the Cheshire Cat which continued long after the cat itself disappeared.

This strange after-life seems to be reflected in a new book by writer Caitlin Moran, called How To Be A Woman. From the extracts published at the weekend, however, it seems that the author finds her own answer by concluding that it is irrelevant. Women today can do pretty well anything they want, she observes, and she has come to understand that all she really wants to be is ‘just a productive, honest, courteously treated human’. Such a tough-minded, witty and unsentimental approach has earned some grudging praise from Germaine Greer — grudging in that Greer claims to have said all this before.

But what Greer actually did was lash feminism to the mast of the sexual revolution. And so she more than anyone else turned it into a carrier for the degradation of society we now see all around us — the porno-paedophile culture; girls emulating the worst of male behaviour in drunkenness, violence and loveless sexual activity; and the disposal of unborn children as if they are of no more value than an unwanted appendix, an attitude which has led directly to the erosion of innate respect for life and the brutalisation of an entire culture. What happens to women is mostly the result of the choices we freely make — choices which feminism’s successes have made more difficult.

But modern feminism holds that women can do exactly what they want free of responsibility for their choices. This is why they insist on continuing to cast women as powerless victims — which is precisely what Slut Walks does. And that is why Slut Walks, Germaine Greer and the rest of the modern feminist movement are now simply irrelevant to most women’s lives.

greer question time This evil witch is on endless BBC programs spouting her vile perception of fathers interaction with their children.

Father in the audience: 'Who's going to teach my children to flirt with me? That is an awful thing to say'

Controversial feminist Germaine Greer claimed last night 'little girls learn to flirt with their fathers' - and sending in British ground forces to Libya raises a risk of 'them raping in their turn' in an outrageous appearance on the BBC. Her shocking comments were made on the Corporation's flagship Question Time programme where the panel were asked to discuss issues including the sexualisation of children and the conflict in the Middle East. Ms Greer's responses caused anger within the audience, with catcalls of 'absolute rubbish' greeting her comments on British troops, while one questioner said her remarks on a child's goodnight kiss was 'an awful thing to say'.

At one point the assembled panel were asked a question about the report for the Government by Mothers' Union chief executive Reg Bailey on the sexualisation of children. It was then that the outspoken academic told the audience in Norwich how children badgered their mothers for clothes which made them look older and for more Barbie dolls: 'There's always been this sinister culture that has gone along and it has always been sexual. 'The Barbie doll herself is a fetish, she's descended from a sex toy.

'Little girls learn to flirt with their fathers ... you know, "kiss daddy goodnight" and all this sort of business and you wonder whether what's happening in marketing is responsible or whether it is actually causing it.' A father in the audience looked appalled by her comment. 'Who's going to teach my children to flirt with me? That is an awful thing to say.' And when host David Dimbleby said her comments may offend many viewers, she further defended her position: 'It is encouraging girls to be coy and manipulative in the way they approach other people, and that is something that enters right into the culture.'

Mail on Sunday columnist Peter Hitchens, who was also a panellist, said her comments showed 'how sick we are as a society that people introduce sex into a goodnight kiss from a father to a daughter. It is unbelievable'. And on sending ground troops into Libya - and the allegations that Gaddafi's troops had been ordered to rape as a weapon of war - she said: 'Rape is always present where you have slaughter. 'You don't have to have a government fiat [order] to do it.

'One of the interesting things you might ask about what happens if we send in ground troops: how will we be sure they don't do a bit of raping in their turn?' No stranger to controversy, earlier this month she claimed dogs should be killed to protect Britain's bluebells, while late last year she sparked another row by suggesting rape victims should name and shame their attackers online instead of reporting the sex crime to the police. Her appearance prompted an instant response on Twitter and internet message boards, with one writer querying whether she had been 'on the pop' prior to filming.

A message on Twitter apparently from Channel Four journalist Krishnan Guru-Murthy said: 'I'm all for a lively debate but you can book one too many from bonkers island sometimes #bbcqt enuf. To bed.' Heat magazine's Boyd Hilton commented: 'Think it might be a while before Germaine gets invited back...' Another wrote: 'She must of offended every dad watching.'

Other online forums were equally appalled at the comments, with Newkidontheblok writing on Digital Spy: 'I couldn't believe what I was hearing but was glad to hear the sharp intake of breath from the audience!!' Fellow writer 0rch1deam added: 'The woman is a freak, I am astounded and furious at what she said there!' A BBC spokesman said they had received 38 complaints in the wake of the broadcast, adding: 'The nature of Question Time means a wide range of views will be aired.

'Germaine Greer's comments were in the context of robust discussions, the audience registered their thoughts on what she said and she was challenged both by members of the audience and the panel.'

  • HUSBAND CALLS IN COPS OVER TEACHER WIFE'S TEXTS TO SPECIAL NEEDS STUDENT, 15
dorothy elizabeth dixon Husband calls police on teacher wife after finding 'sexting' messages to 15-year-old special needs student on her phone

A husband reported his teacher wife to authorities after finding 'sexting' messages to a 15-year-old former student on her phone. When confronted, Dorothy Elizabeth Dixon, 29, of Newnan, Georgia, allegedly told her husband she had been having relations with the special needs student, police said. She had taught him while working at Northgate High School as part of a contract teaching agreement with the Coweta County School System.

Major James Yarbrough, at Coweta County Sheriff’s Office, said Dixon's husband had seen the sexually-charged texts on Dixon's phone and had originally thought they were with an adult male. He then alerted authorities to what is said to have been a sexual relationship. Major Yarbrough said Dixon had been involved with the 15-year-old for several months and had met up with him in different locations.

She was charged with child molestation on May 27 and is being held without bond in the Coweta County Jail. Dixon is the latest female teacher to have been arrested, charged or jailed for allegedly having an inappropriate relationship with a student. Last week Carrie Shafer, 39, a former biology teacher at duPont Manual High School, Kentucky, escaped jail after pleading guilty to charges after being caught partially naked with a 17-year-old student. An arrest report revealed Shafer, who is married, was found in a compromising position with the student from her school in Louisville. Days before two other female teachers were charged with having sex with high school students. In Alabama, Amy Caudle, a teacher charged with sexually abusing three students, pleaded guilty to two counts and was sentenced to 15 years in prison.

In South Carolina, 23-year-old Spanish teacher, Abby McElhenny, resigned from her job after she was charged with sexual battery of a student. Authorities said the relationship came to light when the student’s parents discovered he was lying about spending the night at a friend’s house. When they checked his phone they found 391 text messages to an unknown number over a five day period.

    PART 2 PART 3
WHY I LOATHE FEMINISM AND BELIEVE IT WILL ULTIMATELY DESTROY THE FAMILY
erin pizzey ERIN PIZZEY set up the world's first refuge for battered women in 1971 - and went on to establish an international movement for victims of domestic violence. But what she has never made public before is that her own childhood was scarred by the shocking cruelty of both her parents.

Here, for the first time, she tells the full harrowing story - and how it led her to a surprising, but deeply felt, conclusion ... Though I remember little of my earliest years, I grew up in a world of extraordinary violence. I was born in 1939 in Tsingtao, China, and shortly after my family moved to Shanghai with my diplomat father, we were captured by the invading Japanese army. It was 1942, the war was raging and we were held under house arrest until we were exchanged for Japanese prisoners of war and put on the last boat out of China.

My father was ordered to Beirut by the diplomatic service, and we were left as refugees in Kokstad, South Africa. From living in an enormous house with a fleet of servants and a nanny, my twin sister Rosaleen and I were suddenly at the mercy of my mother Pat's temper. And it was ferocious. Having escaped the brutality of the war, we were introduced to a new brand domestic cruelty. Indeed, my mother's explosive temper and abusive behaviour shaped the person I later became like no other event in my life. Thirty years later, when feminism exploded onto the scene, I was often mistaken for a supporter of the movement. But I have never been a feminist, because, having experienced my mother's violence, I always knew that women can be as vicious and irresponsible as men. Indeed, I would go so far as to say that the movement, which proclaimed that all men are potential rapists and batterers, was based on a lie that, if allowed to flourish, would result in the complete destruction of family life.

From the very beginning, I waged war against my mother and quickly learned to disassociate myself from the pain of her beatings. Her words, however, stayed with me all my life. 'You are lazy, useless, and ugly,' she would scream. 'You look like your father's side of the family - Irish trash.' They were vicious words that I have heard repeated over and over by mothers everywhere. Indeed, when I later opened my refuge for battered women, 62 of the first 100 to come through the door were as abusive as the men they had left.

She was, however, right: I did look like my father, Cyril. While my twin sister was slim and had long dark hair, and my mother's deep blue eyes, I was fat and fair-haired, clumsy, noisy and brash. I was only five years old, but I knew my mother didn't like me. And with no servants to restrain her now, she lashed out whenever she felt like it. When we finally joined my father in a flat in Beirut, I soon realised that he was no saint either. He would constantly scream and rage at all of us.

He was particularly consumed by jealousy. Even though he verbally abused my mother and rarely showed her affection, he seemed compelled to follow her around like a guard dog. If she spoke on the telephone, he grilled her until she burst into tears. If she went out shopping, he paced the room until she got back and exploded with rage if she were more than a few minutes late. I hated my father with all my childish heart - and was truly terrified by him. He was 6ft 4in tall, massively built and had a huge paunch that hung over his belt. He stared out of piggy, pale blue eyes and had a big sloppy mouth that slobbered over my lips when he kissed me.

He didn't believe in baths, which he said were 'weakening', and smoked tins of Players Cigarettes, which made him smell like an ashtray. His rages were explosive and unpredictable. But despite his clumsy, predictable form of macho brutality - born out of his being the 17th child of a violent Irish father - it was my mother's more emotional, verbal form of abuse that scarred me most deeply. She indulged in a particular kind of soul murder - and it was her cruelty that, even 60 years on, still reduces me to tears and leaves me convinced that feminism is a cynical, misguided ploy.

Unfortunately, at that time, what I wanted more than anything was for my mother to love me - something I never felt she truly did. And so, when my father was posted to Chicago, and I followed my mother to Toronto, to live with my godparents, I was initially hopeful. I believed that without my father's presence, she would have the time be a real mother. But once in the bosom of this normal family, my own dysfunctional behaviour soon became apparent. I had, it seems, already been too badly damaged by my mother's hatred of me. I was always in trouble at school, encouraging the other children to behave as badly as I did. On one occasion, I was caught sitting on the doorstep giving away the money I'd stolen from my mother's bag.

Needless to say, my mother went berserk. She took me upstairs and beat me with an ironing cord until the blood ran down my legs. I showed my injuries to my teacher the next morning - but she just stared back impassively and did nothing. Many years later, when feminists started demonising all fathers, these stark images continually reminded me of the truth - that domestic violence is not a gender issue. Shortly after the war, my father was posted to Tehran and we all went to live with him. It was only when I saw him again that I remembered how much I hated him.

He would come home from the office, and as he put the key in the door I would freeze. I would often hear him coughing outside the door - he was still a heavy smoker - and spitting phlegm into the flower bed. His eyes were windows into his violent moods. If they were narrowed and red, I knew he was in a rage and it would only be a matter of time before he erupted. But my hatred of my father was pure and uncontaminated by any other emotions. My feelings about my mother, however, were far more complicated.

As much as I was devastated by her hatred of me, I still genuinely strove for her love. In fact, I had moments of great compassion for her when I saw her weeping and wailing in front of my father. Occasionally, she fought back against his brutality. She was only 4ft 9in, but my mother was extremely strong and her tongue was lethal. She accused him of being an oaf and an idiot. She called his mother a prostitute and his father a common Irish drunk. Unsurprisingly, my brother and sister were both withdrawn and silent children. My sister suffered from headaches, weeping eczema and mysterious days of paralysis when she was unable to get up from her bed.

To outsiders, my father was a genial, intelligent man and my mother a famous party hostess with three beautiful children and a perfect diplomatic family. In fact, my parents were both violent, cruel people and we were all deeply damaged. In 1949, my father was posted back to Tien Sien, in China. I was left with my twin sister in a boarding school - Leweston, near Sherborne in Dorset - and my brother accompanied my parents. Very shortly after they took up their post, however, my parents were captured again - this time by the communists - and held under house arrest for three years.

Without them, I felt an abiding sense of peace and loved my holidays at St Mary's in Uplyme, a holiday home for children whose parents were abroad. Miss Williams, who ran the place, was the first adult that I really admired and respected. She became my mentor. But this idyll was shattered when I heard that my parents had been released. I remember being called to the telephone in the convent to speak to my mother. I had completely blotted my parents out of my life and so when I heard her Canadian accent, I just screamed down the phone. 'You're not my mother!' I yelled, all too aware that the whole circus was about to start again.

When my mother first returned, to a house outside Axminster, we enjoyed an uneasy truce. I was much taller than her now, and too big for her to batter. Instead, she began to list my father's faults, and the atrocities he had inflicted on us all, as if I were now her confidante. She would tell me how much she hated him and that they never should have married. 'But I stayed for you,' she told me. 'I stayed because I wanted you to go to a private school and enjoy a comfortable way of life.'

Once again, she was unleashing her peculiar brand of emotional cruelty, and placing all the responsibility - and guilt - on me. It was a pattern of behaviour I would witness again and again among some of the women in my refuge. The day my father was due to join us in the new house, my mother was a nervous wreck. She was crying and clinging on to me, demanding that I protect her. 'I don't want him anywhere near me,' she said. In dysfunctional families, children, no matter how badly they are treated, will try to take on the parenting role. For me, this still meant protecting and comforting my mother.

And so, on the night of my father's return, I took a large carving knife from the kitchen and went up to my parents' bedroom, which I peered into through a gap in the door. They slept in separate, single beds and I took the extraordinary decision that I would stab him if he tried to force himself on her. I was, on reflection, following my mother's unspoken orders. Remarkably, she had manipulated me to such a degree that I was now willing to murder for her. My father certainly tried to talk his way into her bed. Fortunately, however, he didn't become physical. If he had, he would now be dead and my life would have turned out very differently.

In the 1950s, while I was working in Hong Kong, my mother was diagnosed with terminal cancer. I returned to our house near Axminster - and found my father unchanged. By now, he was trying to force my mother to sign her money - she had received a sizeable inheritance from her father - over to him. Week after week, in the local cottage hospital, she refused, and week after week, he ranted and raved at her while she writhed in pain. I begged the nurses to stop him, but they said no one could come between a man and his wife. At first, my mother refused to believe she was dying. But when my father finally broke her down, and bullied her into signing the papers, her life began to ebb away in earnest.

She died on September 16, 1958, and my father had the body brought home and placed in the dining room. That night, as she lay next door, we sat down to have supper at the table in the hall. He made us stand vigil over her visibly decomposing body

After supper, my father ordered us into the dining room, where my mother's open coffin was draped with a red cloth. My brother, sister and I begged my father not to remove the cloth, but when we closed our eyes for a moment to say a prayer for her, we opened them to be confronted by her pale face. I vividly remember that there was cotton wool sticking out of her nose. Every night, we would stand vigil over my mother's body, and every night she would be exposed to the humiliation of having her children see her visibly decomposing. At last, six days later, my father buried her. I left home the next day and only saw him once more - when I took his ashes to my mother's grave in 1982.

I only decided to talk about my traumatic childhood last week - on a BBC radio programme called The House Where I Grew Up - but I decided long ago I would not repeat the toxic lessons I learned as a child. Instead, I would become a survivor. Feminism, I realised, was a lie. Women and men are both capable of extraordinary cruelty. Indeed, the only thing a child really needs - two biological parents under one roof - was being undermined by the very ideology which claimed to speak up for women's rights.

This country is now on the brink of serious moral collapse. We must stop demonising men and start healing the rift that feminism has created between men and women. Harriet Harman's insidious and manipulative philosophy that women are always victims and men always oppressors can only continue this unspeakable cycle of violence. And it's our children who will suffer.

  • JUDGE ADMONISHES WOMAN WHO LEFT DISABLED CHILD OUTSIDE OVERNIGHT
kate harper Another paltry sentence from a judge for the despicable abuses of a handicapped child by a woman. How many men would have gotten away with this one?

Kate Harper admonished after abandoning child in cold

A woman who left a disabled six-year-old girl outside overnight in freezing temperatures has been admonished. Kate Harper, 26, admitted leaving the child, who is blind and deaf, strapped in her pram in Kingspark, Glasgow, on Guy Fawkes night in 2009. Glasgow Sheriff Court heard the girl suffered hypothermia and almost died.

Sentence was deferred last year to allow Harper to show good behaviour. She was admonished after receiving a positive social work report. At an earlier hearing, the court was told that Harper attended a party on 5 November 2009 which turned into a late-night drinking session. When she took the youngster back to her house she realised she had forgotten her keys and abandoned the girl outside.

    Lips were blue

She headed back to collect the keys but instead of returning with them went to sleep in her sister's house. The court heard that the girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was discovered just before 0830 GMT on 6 November. A bus driver and classroom assistant arrived to take her to school, where she receives supported learning.

They saw the pram, which had tipped over, and noticed that the child was in it with her face pressed against the stone stairs outside the house. She was shivering and her lips were blue. As paramedics later treated the girl, Harper was spotted walking down the street from her sister's house. Police officers spoke to her, and she told them she had very little recollection of what had happened the night before.

  • WOMAN WHO STABBED HUSBAND 193 TIMES FACES NEW JURY TRIAL
susan wright Prosecutor Kelly Siegler did not mince words back in 2004, at Susan Wright's original murder trial. "All that battered wife abuse bull was just that, it was bull," she told jurors. "This case is not about self defense; it's about a slaughter."

She ridiculed Susan Wright's claim that she killed her husband, Jeff, in self-defense.

"For her to claim self-defense and say she took a knife away from a man who outweighed her by 100 pounds is ridiculous," she said in court. Siegler still believes that, maintaining Susan wasn't a battered wife because, "We never found any evidence of it." The evidence, Siegler says, tells a very different story. That's because Jeff's naked body was found with ties around his wrists and ankle. It was, according to Siegler, all part of an elaborate seduction scene.

"She had to play it," Siegler told "48 Hours." "She had to play the game from the minute he got home from work that day, if not sooner, to get him in the right mood, to set the scene... to get him tied up and defenseless; to pull out her knife." That's why Siegler brought the bed into the courtroom.

Medical Examiner Dwayne Wolf backed up the prosecution's theory that Jeff Wright could not fight back. "Out of his 193 stab wounds, almost all of them were on the front of the body," he explained. "And if a person is not restrained in some way, they'd be moving. I would be moving. I would have stab wounds predominantly on my back as I'm headed toward the door." Regardless of what Dr. Wolf said, Susan insisted Jeff was not tied up... at least when she started stabbing him. But something made her stop.

While Susan was slashing at her husband, Bradley, their 4-year-old son, woke up and knocked at the bedroom door. Susan had to stop stabbing his father to put Bradley back to bed. And that's when she says she tied up her husband.

  • FURY AFTER WOMAN WHO FALSELY CRIES RAPE GET PALTRY £80 FINE
Fury after woman who falsely cried rape is handed an £80 fixed penalty

When a mother of five reported that she had been raped by two East European men, panic spread through her community and ethnic tension led to street violence.

Despite the arrest of two suspects, the crime remained unsolved and angry residents confronted police chiefs at a public meeting to voice fears for their safety. Yesterday it was revealed that the ‘victim’, Susan Bradley, 41, later admitted to police that the attack never took place.

But instead of being taken to court for perverting the course of justice and facing a jail sentence, she escaped with an £80 fixed penalty for wasting police time. The decision has been condemned by residents in Darnall, Sheffield, but police say it was the ‘best disposal’ taking into account the woman’s ‘previous good character’. A major investigation was launched after Bradley claimed to have been raped by two men on wasteland near her home in the early hours of January 30.

A businesswoman in the area said: ‘East Europeans were targeted and beaten up after the woman said she had been raped by men from there. ‘What she did is disgusting, never mind the cost to taxpayers for all the extra police time. Now women may think twice about reporting rape for fear of not being believed. ‘It’s outrageous they have basically let her off with a slap on the wrist. What kind of message does that send out?’

Julie Lindley, who runs a hairdressing salon, said: ‘Her rape claim had the community up in arms. ‘She had our support and sympathy and we all pressed the police to catch the attackers. I am appalled that somebody would make up such an offence.’ South Yorkshire Police said they agreed on the fixed penalty fine after discussing the case with the Crown Prosecution Service. They refused to name the woman, but Bradley was identified by members of the community.

LESBIAN PAEDOPHILES NOW COMING OUT OF THE WOODWORK
The mass media would have us all believe its only bad MEN that we need to worry about . Even if they forget to add most of the male abuse is carried out by homosexual paedophiles on young boys. However with the advent of the internet the complicit media have had no option but to report on what they have been hiding for far to long. How lesbians are regularly abusing youngsters and are every bit as predatory, and worse in some cases, as they can hide under the cover of a media that has been protecting their abuses , as have womens aid who are NEVER available for comment when lesbians are behind those abuses.

Female drama teacher 'plied bullied pupil, 13, with alcohol as she groomed her for sex'

A female drama teacher seduced a girl of 13 who turned to her for help after suffering bullying at their school, a court was told. Caroline French, 38, allegedly bought alcohol and cigarettes for the girl, a pupil at the secondary school where she was a form tutor.

She was said to have groomed the girl by encouraging her to confide all her troubles in her, and exchanging texts and emails with her. By the age of 14, the girl was allegedly sleeping at French’s house, where they drank lager and smoked cigarettes. It was claimed the teacher gave the confused pupil a ‘French-style’ kiss on one of these visits. Soon after, the court was told, the relationship became intimate and sexual, and the pupil was made to wear an ‘engagement ring’ on her finger. The relationship is said to have lasted until the girl was 17. Yesterday French, who claims to be heterosexual, pleaded not guilty to one count of indecency with a child and three counts of indecent assault on a child. Richard Howarth, prosecuting, told Preston Crown Court: ‘It became a sexual relationship between the two. Over that period of time there was a process by which the defendant groomed the complainant.’ He said French invited the teenager to sleep at her home when the girl had trouble with her mother, and plied her with Budweiser lager and cigarettes.

Mr Howarth said: ‘Eventually the time came that the complainant was sleeping over ... and was touched sexually.’ Giving evidence via videolink, the girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, described how she initially met French when she was in high school in Blackpool. She said: ‘No other teachers were like her. We could talk to her. In Year Nine [for pupils aged 13 and 14] we were spending dinnertime in her room.’

She described how French had given out her contact details after helping her with some bullying problems and listening about her troubles at home. ‘We used to talk about my mum,’ she said. ‘I was stressed out because of GCSEs coming up, she would just listen. She started dropping me off after school.’ She said shortly after that they began talking online and the subject would often turn to a girl who had recently come out as a lesbian at school.

WOMAN JAILED FOR HAVING SEX WITH BOY 13 FOUND DEAD
SARAH WEBSTER A mother-of-four who was jailed for having sex with a 13-year-old boy has been found dead at her home.

A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of her murder but was released on bail on Sunday. Police sealed off the entrance to the flat on a council estate and began house-to-house inquiries. Forensic experts also began a detailed examination of the interior of the property where the body was found. Residents later claimed Webster had lived at the address with her partner.

A police spokesman said that the post-mortem examination had failed to establish the cause of death and further investigations were required. It is understood Webster's four children are now being cared for by relatives. In April 2008 Webster was handed a 12-month sentence suspended for two years after she admitted sexual activity with a child. When sentenced at Leeds Crown Court, Webster was told she must stick to a two-year supervision order and live at a probation hostel for a year.

But in December of 2008 the court was told Webster had ignored the order and Judge Rodney Grant activated the suspended sentence and jailed her for 12 months. The original hearing heard that Webster had sex with the 13-year-old boy between December 2007 and January 2008 and while she was on bail for that offence the teenager returned to her house and was discovered in bed with her again.

THERESA MAY DRESSES DOWN 'FEMINIST BIGOTS' SLUR BACKBENCHER
A RARE OCCASION WHEN ANY TORY MAKES SENSE REGARDING FEMINIST BIGOTS

HOME Secretary Theresa May yesterday dressed down a backbench Tory MP who called feminists “obnoxious bigots”.
Mrs May attacked Dominic Raab in the Commons when he asked her about transferable maternity leave between men and women. She agreed that she was keen to end gender warfare in the workplace. But referring to Mr Raab’s online comments she told him: “Might I suggest that labelling feminists as obnoxious bigots is not the way forward.” A stunned Mr Raab slumped in his seat before trying to laugh off the rebuke.

Mr Raab had told MPs the Government should make maternity leave “transferable” between men and women if it wanted to tackle “anti-male discrimination”.

TORY MP BLASTS 'OBNOXIOUS FEMINIST BIGOTS' AND SAYS MEN GET A RAW DEAL
Dominic Raab LEFT: Dominic Raab and wife Erika

IT IS NOT VERY OFTEN WE AGREE WITH THE TORIES BUT THIS IS A VERY RARE OCCASION. MEN ARE UTTERLY SHAFTED IN DIVORCE COURTS WHEN JUDGES SUPPORT THE MAN HATING FEMINIST AGENDA LIKE HARRIET HARMAN WHEN DISHING OUT MASSIVE DIVORCE SETTLEMENTS TO GREEDY AND EVIL GOLDDIGGERS WHO WILL GO TO ANY LENGTHS TO SMEAR MEN. HEATHER MILLS ONLY ONE EXAMPLE.

Dominic Raab, 37, argued in favour of more family-friendly policies to replace Labour's "outdated and obsolete equality and diversity agenda". He caused controversy by saying: "While we have some of the toughest anti-discrimination laws in the world, we are blind to some of the most flagrant discrimination - against men. From the cradle to the grave, men are getting a raw deal. Men work longer hours, die earlier, but retire later than women." The Esher and Walton MP, former chief of staff to David Davis, said: "Then there is the more subtle sexism. Men caused the banking crisis. Men earn more because they are more assertive in pay negotiations."

Mr Raab, whose wife Erika works in marketing for a major IT firm, said: "One commentator recently complained that, 'high-flying women are programmed to go for high-flying men. Most men aren't attracted to women who are more successful than they are'. Can you imagine the outrage if such trite generalisations were made about women, or other minorities? Feminists are now amongst the most obnoxious bigots." Suggesting it might be time for men to start "burning their briefs" he added on the PoliticsHome website: "You can't have it both ways. Either you believe in equality or you don't. If you buy into the whole Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus theory of gender difference - with all its pseudo science - you can't then complain about inequalities of outcome that flow both ways from those essentially sexist distinctions."

  • PAEDO DINNER LADY HAD SEX WITH 12 YEAR OLD AFTER SEDUCING HIM WITH TEXTS
Diane Pullar A primary school playtime assistant had sex with the 12-year-old son of a close friend five times, a court heard.

Mother-of-two Diane Pullar, 31, began picking the boy up from school and sent him secret text messages which he was told to delete. The blonde was only exposed after another friend's sons walked in on them. She allegedly groomed the boy after her son became friends with his older brother. Pullar, who it was alleged once straddled the 12-year-old on a trampoline with her cleavage exposed, denies six counts of engaging in sexual activity with a child.

The mother, from Chatteris, Cambridgeshire, worked as a playtime assistant at a primary school in the town. Claire Matthews, prosecuting, told a jury at Cambridge Crown Court that after committing the attacks Pullar attended the boy's 13th birthday party. She said: 'Diane Pullar was involved in a full-blown sexual relationship with a child. The families became close and even went on holidays together.

'Diane knew his age because she went to his thirteenth birthday party and bought him a card saying thirteen on it. 'She would collect him from school in her car. She sent him text messages saying things such as 'Love you loads, remember to delete this, kiss, kiss, kiss.' The prosecutor said the mother's secret relationship with a boy was only discovered when someone walked in on them.

'Another friend's son visited Diane Pullar and sometimes confided in her. He visited her at her home and was allowed to let himself in,' she said. 'One particular day he remembers knocking on the door and there being no reply. He let himself in and saw her and the victim on the sofa together. 'He was wearing just his boxer shorts, lying on his back on the sofa. Diane was wearing just a bra on top and lower clothing.

'He was embarrassed so he busied himself in the kitchen. But Diane and the victim stayed in the living room for half an hour.' The court heard Pullar met her victim after her son became friends with his older brother and she became close friends with his mother.

She is accused of having sex with him five times and performing oral sex on him once. All six of the charges relate to a period between April and July 2009 when the boy, who is now 13 but was 12 at the time of the attacks, was regularly visiting her home.

  • MOTHER ADMITS BEING ON FACEBOOK WHILE CHILD DROWNS
A woman in Colorado has been arrested after telling police that she was busy on Facebook while her one-year-old son was drowning in a bathtub.

The mother, 34-year-old Shannon Johnson, reportedly told authorities that she was playing a Facebook game called 'Cafe World,' browsing through her news feed, and sharing videos around the time that her son was in the tub one day last September. Johnson claimed that the baby was in the bathtub for a total of ten minutes, and that she checked on him once during that time. When she didn't hear any noise coming from the bathroom, she checked on him again, only to find the boy lying sideways, with his face submerged. Johnson immediately rushed her child to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter.

When investigators asked Johnson why she would leave a 13-month old unattended in the bath, she replied that her son was preternaturally independent, and simply wanted to be alone. An arrest affidavit obtained by KMGH Denver also quotes Johnson as saying that she didn't want her son to grow up to be a "mamma's boy"-- which, presumably, is why she decided to let him bathe himself. Johnson is due to appear in court on Friday, where she could face a charge of child abuse resulting in death.

  • 'CRY RAPE' WOMAN JAILED FOR FALSE CLAIMS AGAINST FOUR MEN
A woman was jailed for two years today after being exposed as a serial liar who repeatedly made up stories that she had been raped.

Emma Blunden, 21, from Reading, Berkshire, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court after been convicted of two counts of perverting the course of justice at the same court in December. The court heard that a total of four men were arrested over both allegations, but all were freed without charge. Blunden's lies began on July 26, 2008, when she reported to police that she had been raped by James Mabey, 26, in a hostel where she was living in Newbury.

Police then arrested Mr Mabey who was questioned for 17 hours before police realised he was innocent and released him. The judge was also told about how Blunden boasted about having sex with Mr Mabey and sent him a text message to apologise for getting him arrested. She was then arrested herself and interviewed about her false allegations but released so that police could investigate further.

While out on bail she went to a party and flirted with a man before letting three men have sex with her in a communal bathroom, one after another. She then left the party and dialled 999 to say that her train fare money had been stolen before saying she had been gang raped by three men - Shane Roberts, 23, Craig Pilime and Colin McDonagh, both 21. They were all taken in to custody and were needlessly questioned for up to 13 hours each, before they were released without charge.

Sentencing her Judge John Reddihough said: 'False allegations of rape were made which saw a number of men kept in custody for many hours. The first incident was a misguided attempt to win back a former boyfriend. 'The second saw three men spend from 11 and a half to 13 hours in custody over allegations made against them. Perhaps you were ashamed of your own sexual conduct to these men.

'I take into account no previous convictions, your age, maturity and the pre-sentence report but on two occasions you made false allegations and only a custodial sentence is appropriate in your case.' Blunden was handed two consecutive 12 month prison sentences for perverting the course of justice and was told she would face a minimum of one year in prison.

Paedophile nursery worker Vanessa George discussed killing a baby with her ‘Svengali’ accomplice while abusing children in her care, a court heard yesterday.

The mother of two, 40, was talking online to Colin Blanchard, who was yesterday jailed for persuading a string of middle-aged women he met on Facebook to abuse children for his sexual pleasure. As the full extent of Blanchard’s depravity was laid bare, a court was told that the pair were part of one of the ‘most sickening paedophile rings this country has ever seen’. ‘Warped and wicked’ Blanchard, a twice-married father of two, had a ‘Svengali-like’ influence over four women including George, who filmed and photographed themselves carrying out their appalling actions. George, who had already been jailed, has refused to identify her victims to police.

The Honourable Mr Justice Royce told Blanchard yesterday: ‘It is beyond the ken of decent people how any of you could stoop so disgustingly low as you did.’ He described Blanchard’s emails and text messages to George as ‘deeply disturbing’, saying they were ‘sickening to read and reveal attitudes of breathtaking depravity’.

The judge cited one example in which ‘you [Blanchard] discuss with Vanessa George raping a baby until it dies’. Blanchard, 40, was said by the judge to be the ‘hub of this paedophile wheel’ which had caused ‘widespread revulsion and disbelief’. He was handed an indeterminate prison sentence and told he would serve a minimum of nine years.

  • LADY LAIRD BEGGED BUILDER FOR SEX THEN SACKED HIM WHEN HE REFUSED
melville house THE millionaire owner of a country house accused of pulling out of a contract because a builder refused to have sex with her has settled out of court. Married Jennifer Harvey made the 11th hour deal after being sued for damages by contractor Ewan White, who said he had been forced to turn down her unwanted sexual advances.

Mrs Harvey had initially fought the claim, but on the eve of going to court to give evidence, she settled Mr White's action for more than £30,000. When a last-minute bid to have the case postponed failed at Perth Sheriff Court she reached the settlement with Mr White's company, WTP Scotland. Mr White, who described the landowner as "brassy", said she had pestered him for sex while his company was working on Melville House at Monimail in Fife. He lodged a claim for more than £30,000 compensation.

He said he spent weeks turning down Mrs Harvey as she "begged" him for sex and claimed she ended the contract when she discovered he had a girlfriend. In papers lodged at the court, Mr White said that the mansion owner "frequently" asked him to have sex and sent him e-mails and text messages. The court claim stated: "The defender, during the course of the contract, would frequently ask Ewan White to have sex with her. Ewan White refused.

"On 9 November 2009 at 8am she telephoned Ewan White. She stated that she 'had been thinking all weekend and had to have you'. She went on to say 'It will just be sex.' Ewan White advised that he did not wish to and advised that she should not speak about it again. "The defender telephoned again at 7pm on 9 November 2009 and said 'she had a mattress looked out for the night' and begged Ewan White to come and stay overnight with her and have sex with her. Ewan White refused again.

  • MOTHER AND DAUGHTER KEEP DEAD GRAN SECRET FOR MONTHS TO CLAIM HER PENSION
Hazel Maddock Jasmine Maddock WOMEN'S AID NEVER AVAILABLE FOR COMMENT ON COLD RUTHLESS WOMEN LIKE THIS WHO DESTROY MEN IN DIVORCE COURTS WITH THE SAME DESPICABLE BEHAVIOUR

An actress left her dead mother’s body in bed for up to seven months while she claimed her state pension. When Olive Maddock, 95, died of natural causes her daughter, Hazel Maddock, 61, and granddaughter, Jasmine Maddock, 35, did not organise her funeral.

Although they shared the same house they claim not to have noticed the widow had died, as she was an eccentric who often shut herself in her room and kept herself to herself for weeks at a time. Hazel Maddock, a singer, model and television actress, continued cashing her state pension, until a suspicious friend called police who discovered the body.

Officers were horrified when they visited the filthy, ramshackle semi-detached property in Wallasey, Merseyside, last August and discovered the remains. It is understood that Mrs Maddock, who had a hatred and fear of doctors, had barricaded herself in her room and police had to break down the door. The pathologist who examined her was unable to ascertain exactly when she died, but estimated it was several months earlier. Jasmine Maddock, a professional artist, told police she had last seen her grandmother two months earlier.

The mother and daughter were arrested and earlier this week they appeared before magistrates in Birkenhead charged with preventing the decent and lawful burial of Mrs Maddock sometime between January 1, 2010, and August 2, 2010. Hazel is also charged with one count of fraud in relation to cashing the dead woman’s state pension. Neither woman entered a plea and both were granted unconditional bail to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on January 20. Last night a source close to the investigation told the Daily Mail: ‘A friend alerted the authorities after talking to Hazel. She became suspicious that no one had had any contact with Mrs Maddock for so long.
